Linda Burton is the owner of Hilton Head Hair & Makeup, LLC, and is an award winning makeup artist specializing in weddings, special events., fashion, corporate, editorial, and film. Originally from the Boston area, Linda studied to become a MAC Pro makeup artist at Oxford Makeup Academy in Seymour, Connecticut. After completing that program, Linda went on to be the lead makeup artist for two feature length films, and continued her education in New York City by taking classes at the MAC Pro flagship store, and providing runway makeup for the models at the Copacabana Rooftop Lounge in Times Square. She also spent this time building her portfolio and perfecting her bridal makeup skills, and additionally, was lead makeup artist on one feature film, "My Brother Jack" and part of a team of makeup artists on "Janie Charismanic", which features Eric Roberts.
In 2012, Linda relocated to the Hilton Head Island area to be closer to family and of course the warmer weather! Linda became a licensed esthetician, began building her bridal makeup business, as well as providing makeup services for several major corporate events and businesses. Linda recently provided makeup for Celebrity Hair Stylist Nick Arrojo (Best known for his role on televisions "What Not to Wear") for his 2017 Savannah Hair Show, as well as for a BBC documentary for Sky News about the 20th Anniversary of Princess Diana's death, which will be aired Internationally the summer of 2017. Linda has won Wedding Wire’s Couples Choice Award, as well as The Knot’s pick for Best of Weddings for both the Hilton Head Island and Savannah, GA markets. She was also voted Top Ten Makeup Artists in the Hilton Head market for 2016.
